Ports for the shared printer via a router with NAT Forwarding

A printer behind a router is usually not available for computers in front of it or from the Internet.

To make this printer accessible, several forwarding rules can be created in the router in the NAT area. To do this, you must know the port numbers, or service port numbers and their protocols:

Service Port Protocol Description
9100  TCP  PDL Data Stream / Datatransfer
161  UDP  Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) / Status query
162  UDP  Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) / Status query

The printer protocol must be changed from LPR to RAW in the configuration of the port in Windows.
